How to get to Gros Morne National Park

Newfoundland and Labrador is the easternmost province in Canada. It is comprised of the island of Newfoundland and to the north, Labrador. Labrador is part of the mainland of Canada and borders the province of Quebec.

Gros Morne National Park is located on the west coast of the island of Newfoundland. Deer Lake Airport (YDF) is just 35km from the southern boundary of Gros Morne National Park. This airport is serviced by direct daily flights from Montreal, Toronto (May-October), Halifax and St. John's.

If you are driving, Gros Morne National Park is 340km north of the Port aux Basque ferry terminal servicing the ferry across the Cabot Straight from North Sydney, Nova Scotia. Deer Lake is located 637 km from St. John’s, the capital city of Newfoundland and Labrador. In summer a ferry links Northern Newfoundland with Southern Labrador.

We provide a free shuttle service from Deer Lake Airport to the park for guests on our all-inclusive trips.
