About Gros Morne

Where to stay in Gros Morne National Park

Many visitors base themselves at a B&B, hotel, inn, cottage, hostel or full serviced RV park in one of the communities in Gros Morne National Park and do a series of day activities including walking and hiking, marine based tours, or scenic drives. Other visitors choose a more wilderness experience, staying in semi serviced Parks Canada campsites or setting out with backpacks and tents to explore backcountry trails and wilderness routes.

To see the highlights in Gros Morne National Park, you will want to spend at least 4 days and explore both the north and the south side. This leaves you with the choice of staying in one location and driving around Bonne Bay and/or taking the water taxi, or arranging to stay a night or two on both sides of the park. Visit the Newfoundland & Labrador web site for a complete list of accommodations. Select one of the seven communities that the park surrounds to narrow your search.
