Snowshoeing in Gros Morne National ParkGros Morne Adventures offers guided day and half day snowshoe outings throughout the months of February and March. Destinations include a beginner level exploration to Western Brook Pond Fjord, a moderate level exploration of the forested valley of Burridge’s Gulch, and more challenging explorations of the Long Range and Tablelands mountains. Previous snowshoeing experience is not required. Snowshoes and poles are available for rent. Backcountry Skiing in Gros Morne National ParkGros Morne Adventures offers guided daylong backcountry skiing outings throughout the months of February and March. Destinations include a moderate level exploration of the forested valley of Burridge’s Gulch and more challenging explorations of the Long Range and Tablelands mountains. Terrain ranges from rolling hills to steep powder filled bowls. Some skiing experience is necessary, contact our office for details on the various destinations and the skiing skills recommended. |
